SOUTH WEST WRITERS HONOUR EX-ANA OGUN CHAIRMAN, DADA OLANIPEKUN

The Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun, Oyo, Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo and Osun Chapters, have honoured the former chairman, Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun State Chapter, Dada Olanipekun, for his immeasurable roles in the Association.

The meritorious award of excellence was presented to him by Prof. Remi Raji, former president, ANA, national, on the 7th of November, during the 2020 Literary Retreat of the South West Association of Nigerian Authors, (SWANA), in Ibadan, Adeyipo Village, Oyo State.

The Chairman of SWANA, South West, Solomon Ignanire, in his speech said that; “this year’s edition is significant for a member of reasons, apart from the popular or notorious COVID-19, which brought the entire globe on its kneels.”

While presenting the award to Dada Olanipekun, he appreciated him for his commitment and support for the Association, not only in Ogun State, but in the whole South West.

He noted that the former Chairman of ANA, supported the maiden edition of SWANA Literary Retreat, emphasizing that the Ogun State Chapter, set a standard, which surpassed other host thereafter.
