Negotiation between organized Labour and Kwara state Government on the new national minimum wage has dead locked.

NLC, TUC labour leaders after the meeting according to report, insist on going ahead with their planned strike.

The strike says NLC, will take off after the expiration of the fourteen-day deadline issued to the Kwara state Government on the payment of the new wage.

Harriet Afolabi, the state Communication commissioner, advised labour leaders to agree with the state government on the need to keep the monthly wage bill of the state Government to be less than N3 billion.
