Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu, Ogun State Chief Judge, has accused Courts’ bailiffs in Ogun State judiciary of asking for bribes in court processes.
According to Rock City fm radio, she leveled the accusation while speaking at a one day training project organized for bailiffs at the judiciary complex, Abeokuta.
She expressed her concern over the practice, warning that offering bribes to court bailiffs set court processes in jeopardy.
Justice Dipeolu, disclosed that some of the court bailiffs collected at least #20,000 from litigants and lawyers to help them serve the court processes within Abeokuta.
She frowned at the improper dressing of judiciary staff, “most especially female staff, stressing that “your hair styles must be modest.”
