The Supreme Court has confirmed the victory of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Giving the judgment on Wednesday, the apex court dismissed the appeal filed by the Hon Kabir Akinlade, the Governorship candidate of Allied People’s Movement (APM).
The Supreme Court ruled that the Election Petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal judgments earlier given were within the rule of law.
It will be recalled that INEC declared Dapo Abiodun as duly elected with a total of 241,670 votes against Akinlade’s 222,153 votes.
