SOYINKA (The ‘SOYINKA’ IN ME)

SOYINKA (The ‘SOYINKA’ IN ME)
We are in a globalization age, and African poetry is poetry of commitment, and therefore, Dada Olanipekun has taken it again from both didactic aesthetics and socio-political terrain to comment on the trending in African situation. Surprisingly, Dada has been deeply vocal voice identified for his poetic pedigree by Odia Ofeimum, former President of ANA who came to his country home, Abeokuta around 1:35am to collect his poems for “Voice from the Fringe” published by ANA in 1987 edited by Harry Garuba, and “Lines from the Rock” by ANA Ogun in 2006.
